Studying maths as an adult is very different from when you studied at school. You will find that maths classes at East Coast College are fun and taught in a friendly environment. Your maths session will revise and develop your past knowledge and will enhance your understanding further. Each maths session is a mixture of presentations, useful resources and relevant tasks using traditional teaching methods plus the latest technology. Both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths are 1 year, part-time courses which comprise of a weekly 3-hour session. You will need to study at home too.

Having a qualification in English opens many doors, both professionally and personally. With qualifications in English, you can apply for more courses, further your career and move up the career ladder. There are different levels of study available to you. Whether you are a complete beginner or you need to just brush up on your skills, we have a course available to you. Attendance is three hours a week – though there may be an option to study online for some of the work. You will be expected to also complete work at home. The sessions we offer are daytime or evening.
